BMG Music Services Review

BMG Music Services, launched in the mid-1950's, is the largest direct-to-customer music distribution service in the world. BMG online is not a P2P file transport service; in fact, it's not even a digital music service at all. You remember BMG mailings in your mailbox every few months, don't you: 12 CDs for the price of 1? This is that. No difference, but for the ability to browse their catalog over the internet. After you fulfill your obligation to purchase 1 CD at full price, you can cancel at any time.

While you're a member, every 3 weeks you'll be sent a mailing with their updated catalog and information on their "Featured Selection". If you don't respond to this mailing, canceling the Featured Selection, it is sent to you automatically at your cost. You can of course return it, but who wants the hassle? Key note: BMG Music Service is only open to residents of the U.S., its possessions and APO-FPO addresses.

Technical Support and Customer Service

Technical Support / Customer Service
Not much need for tech support with this service, which is good because there isn't any.
As far as customer support is concerned, this is a well-established, reputable company, so I would expect better.
They have a basic FAQ page, but if you have any further questions, the "Contact Customer Service" link takes you to a "General Feedback Form", which says they'll review your feedback and use that information to improve their site and services. There is nothing, however, promising a customer support team member will get back to you. There is nothing, in fact, promising they even have a customer support team.

A CD player would be useful, and a mailing address, but other than that, you're pretty much good to go
